Paint Correction
Paint correction is the process of removing paint defects and imperfections in a vehicle’s finish, restoring it to an often better than new state. The most common paint defects seen are oxidisation, swirl and scuff marks, scratches, UV damage caused by the sun and extreme marring. These imperfections are usually caused by improper washing and detailing methods, incorrect use of a machine buffer, automatic car washes and neglected contamination like sap, droppings and bugs.
We measure the thickness of your paint with a digital gauge ensuring that it is safe to proceed and that your vehicles paint will not be compromised. We then combine a range of techniques including clay barring, wet sanding and machine cutting depending on the severity of the imperfections in your car's paintwork. Your pride and joy is then machine polished, producing a deep, glossy shine guaranteed to turn heads. We use only high quality compounds and polishes that contain no fillers, silicone, waxes or ammonia. |
